Overview

Let’s explore the stunning volcanic landscape of Mount Ararat and spend one night under the stars. In this trip, we have combined sightseeing trip to important historical places in Doğubayazıt together with an Eco-camping trip at the base of Mount Ararat, the mystical resting place of Noah’s Ark where you can immense yourself in the nature and connected with the hospitalities of Turkish and Kurdish people.

Your journey

Itinerary

01
DAY 1 :
- Meet our guide at the meeting point in Doğubayazıt.
- Drive to Mount Ararat, the vehicle will drop us at the starting point and we continue to hike to Ararat Camp 1 (3200m), (**Horse riding service is also available**)
- Once you arrive at our camp, the hot drinks and snacks will be waiting for you. Rest and refill energy.
- Afternoon, we can explore the nature, volcanic landscape, and wild flowers. Feel free to walk around the campsite.
- Sunset photography and we will have a BBQ night for dinner where you can exchange some good cultural and stories with our team, we can sing and enjoy ourselves on Mount Ararat. Night photography is possible if time allows.
- 10 PM lights out.

DAY 2
- Early morning, Sunrise photography.
- After breakfast, we back our belongings and descend to the starting point where the vehicle will be waiting for us.
- Drive back to Doğubayazıt, check in at the hotel and get some refreshments.
- Have lunch in the city center.
- Afternoon, visit the 17th century Ishak Paşa Palace which is one of the most important works of the Ottoman Empire. Visit the footprint of Noah’s Ark site.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
